The Grand Illusion

Enjoy the video below Emerson’s great poem
Illusion works impenetrable,
Weaving webs innumerable,
Her gay pictures never fail,
Crowd each other, veil on veil,
Charmer who will be believed
By man who thirsts to be deceived.
~ R.W. Emerson

  1. This is very interesting of course (what the bleep…) yet I wonder if our understanding of it is skewed…kind of like the earlry “expert” believers that the earth was flat or the universe or solar system revolved around our planet.
If all reality is the hologram produced in each of our brains, where do all the other life forms fit in? Plants too. I believe that they have an understanding of “reality” on this planet (and how it relates to the universe) that may be deeper than the human one, yet we as humans are thinking of substance only as it translates to what neurons are firing in each of our own little brains.
The world existed before the ability to perceive it existed.
